Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy & Legal Notice

    Last updated: July 7, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the "Legal Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Medra ("Medra," "we," "us," or "our"), a Belgian sole proprietorship, concerning your access to and use of the website https://medra.site (the "Site"), the Medra web platform, and any related products or services that refer to these Legal Terms (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE THE SERVICES AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY. Users will be notified of changes to these Terms directly on the platform. The Services are intended for users aged 15 or older. Any minor user must obtain prior authorization from their parent or legal guardian, who must read and accept these Terms before use. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms for your records.

    1. OUR SERVICES

Medra is an artificial intelligence platform designed to assist students with their academic work: Dissertation, FYP (Final Year Project), Thesis, TFE, PFE, TFG, Tesina, and similar assignments. The Services allow you to generate the topic, outline, survey questionnaire, charts, and complete written content — from the first chapter to the final draft — as well as to interact with an AI support chatbot.

The information provided through the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to law or regulation, or which would subject us to any registration requirement within such jurisdiction. Those who access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.

The Services are not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations (HIPAA-style health data laws, banking secrecy, classified data, etc.). If your interactions would be subject to such laws, you may not use the Services.

    2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

    Our intellectual property

We own or license all intellectual property rights in the Services, including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics (collectively, the "Content"), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks").

Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws (and various other intellectual property and unfair competition laws) and treaties in Belgium, the European Union, and around the world.

The Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose only.

    Your use of the Services

Subject to compliance with these Terms, including the "PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES" section below, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to: access the Services and download or print a copy of any portion of the Content to which you have properly gained access, solely for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose.

Except as set out in this section or elsewhere in our Terms, no part of the Services and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.

Any request to use the Services, Content, or Marks beyond this scope should be addressed to info@medra.site. Any breach of these Intellectual Property Rights will constitute a material breach of our Terms and your right to use the Services will terminate immediately.

    Your submissions and contributions

Submissions: By directly sending us any question, comment, suggestion, idea, feedback, or other information about the Services ("Submissions"), you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such Submission. You agree that we shall own this Submission and be entitled to its unrestricted use and dissemination for any lawful purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.

Contributions: The Services may invite you to chat or contribute to interactive features ("Contributions"). You retain full ownership of your Contributions and all intellectual property rights associated with them. By posting Contributions, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, and display your Contributions for the purpose of providing, promoting, and improving the Services.

You are solely responsible for what you post or upload. You warrant that your Submissions and Contributions are original, do not infringe third-party rights, are not illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or deceptive, and that you have the authority to grant us the rights described above.

We may remove or edit your content: while we have no obligation to monitor, we reserve the right to remove or edit any Contribution at any time, without notice, if we reasonably consider it harmful or in breach of these Terms. We may also suspend or disable your account and report you to the relevant authorities.

    3. USER REPRESENTATIONS

    10. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Medra is designed to HELP students structure and write their academic work using artificial intelligence features. Medra is by no means a cheating tool and does not encourage dishonest behavior. It is intended to structure, facilitate, and support the academic work of the student, who remains solely responsible for validating, proofreading, verifying, and submitting their work.

You agree to use Medra in accordance with the principles of academic integrity and the rules established by your institution (university, school, training center). In no event shall Medra be held liable if you use the Service in violation of your institution's academic conduct rules. IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOUR USE OF MEDRA COMPLIES WITH APPLICABLE STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS.

    "Humanize" feature

Medra's "Humanize" feature is designed to optimize the stylistic originality of generated content and improve its writing quality. It is not a means of circumventing plagiarism-detection or AI-detection systems or institutional rules, and it must be used with a spirit of honest academic work.

Although its results are effective against many classic detectors, Medra DOES NOT GUARANTEE 100% effectiveness against AI detectors, as these are unpredictable, constantly evolving, and may incorrectly flag human content as AI-generated. Ethical use of this feature is entirely the user's responsibility.

    AI-generated content

Content generated by Medra's AI features may contain errors, inaccuracies, fabricated bibliographic references, or biases. You acknowledge that: (1) you must systematically verify, correct, and complete generated content; (2) Medra cannot be held responsible for academic consequences (grade, refusal, disciplinary action) resulting from unverified use of generated content; (3) the use of generative AI may be subject to specific rules at your institution, which you are responsible for following.
